Hamburger Steak with Avocado Butter Lettuce Salad

This was so easy and delicious!  Low Carb too!

Make 2 hambuger steaks with a good ground chuck or beef, season with salt, pepper and garlic.  Cook until medium or medium well.    Saute mushrooms and onions in same skillet with a little olive oil.  

Here is the recipe for the Avocado Butter Lettuce Salad. 

Ingredients
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 cups torn butter lettuce
1 cup sliced avocado

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl for the dressing. Let stand 10 minutes.  Toss over lettuce and avocado.   Place some of the salad on plate and place steaks on top with sauteed onions and mushrooms.

Note: you could also use another kind of lettuce, but the butter lettuce makes the avocado taste buttery.  So good.  Enjoy!
