Diet Oatmeal Cookie

Diet Oatmeal Cookie

 

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup oatmeal

½ cup splenda

¼ brown sugar

1/8 milk powder

2 T. Flax seed

1 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp baking soda

1/8 salt

2 egg whites

1 T. olive oil

This is an easy cookie to make.  Similiar to the Cookie Diet cookies, but they taste better.   Great if you are diabetic too.

Mix all ingredient well and drop by (2 Tablespoons) for each cookie and flatten slightly.  Dough will be a little wet.  Bake in a 325o oven for about 8 minutes then let cool completely.  Store in fridge.

The cookie diet plans call for eating 6 cookies per day and a 400-600 calorie dinner that’s low in fat for example (chicken breast, vegetables or salad and serving of whole grain bread).   

My suggestion, eat one or two per day when you are trying to watch your carbs and eat a low glycemic or low carb diet.   These will satisfy your sweets craving.
